Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was Same as it ever was

I’m not a mechanical engineer, I didn’t build a physical time machine with my hands, but I definitely changed something. What I changed didn’t just effect my life, it dramatically rippled into everyone else’s. I’m sure there’s lots of crazy people who think the world revolves around them, but truthfully, I’ve been as humbled as they come. I don’t think of myself as anyone special, and I’m pretty certain this life I’m living is not my own. I used to pinch my cheeks to wake up from a nightmare, now I pinch my cheeks because I just seem to always get my way. Anything my heart desires, my heart gets. All my enemies are dead, I just forget about them and they go away, or they come back and I heal them. Some people swim in water, I swim in pools of milky gold in my mind. I know this may sound like madness, but I’ve repressed so much of my artistic spirit only to cater to man animals, in a generation that doesn’t understand metaphysics. It’s like being superman, hanging out with a bunch of batman’s. I just wanna run on the water like Jesus and be free, I don’t need a boat for that… but beautiful women love boats. So what’s the point of being filled with magic anyway? I think I’m just gonna give in and join the club. ☠ Just kidding, I’m in my own club of starting everything new. 😎

And you may find yourself
Living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself
In another part of the world
And you may find yourself
Behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house
With a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, well
How did I get here?
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Water dissolving and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Under the water, carry the water
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!
Water dissolving and water removing
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again into silent water
Under the rocks and stones, there is water underground
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
You may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
You may ask yourself
Where does that highway go to?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right? Am I wrong?
And you may say yourself
“My God! What have I done?”
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again into the silent water
Under the rocks and stones, there is water underground
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Look where my hand was
Time isn’t holding up
Time isn’t after us
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Letting the days go by
Same as it ever was
And here the twister comes
Here comes the twister
Letting the days go by (same as it ever was)
Same as it ever was (same as it ever was)
Letting the days go by (same as it ever was)
Same as it ever was
Once in a lifetime
Let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
